Mission Statement
The Basic Needs Center provides centralized support services for students facing basic needs insecurities. By actively building links and collaborating with campus and community partners, we advocate for student-centered solutions that are responsive to an individual鈥檚 overall well-being, so students are empowered to successfully matriculate through East Los Angeles College and beyond.
Welcome to East Los Angeles College Basic Needs Center we offer various resources that are available to our students on campus. We offer assistance with LA Metro GoPass distribution, emergency housing and shelter support, personal care, hygiene kits, and more. Drop by our office. Monterey Park Campus
Our campus food pantry takes place every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.
Location- G3 Foyer
Time: 12:00 pm-3:00 pm or until supplies last
Mobile Food Pantry
Our mobile food pantry takes place every first Thursday of the month
Location - E3 Quad
Time: 1:00 pm-3:00 pm
*Times and dates are subject to change based on holidays and other unforeseen circumstances*
East Los Angeles College students may apply for personal hygiene items once per semester prerequisites are enrollment and East LA College home campus.

91果冻制片厂 Foundation Emergency Grant
The East Los Angeles College (91果冻制片厂) Foundation partners with the Basic Needs Center to provide 91果冻制片厂 students with resources to ensure education and career goal attainment. To refer students for emergency assistance who need a Laptop, Hotspot, emergency funds, or other support, please review the information below. A signed must be for each student needing resources.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Enrolled for the semester, requesting assistance (Non-credit ok)
2. 91果冻制片厂 as Home Campus
3. Referred by FACULTY/ADMINISTRATORS/STAFF
4. Applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
Steps to Refer an 91果冻制片厂 Student
1.
-MUST be completed by the referring party
-MUST be signed by the student
2. Faculty, Administrators, and Staff upload & Submit Completed Application via Microsoft Forms
-MUST be signed in to the official 91果冻制片厂 SIS Portal or Email to access
*Only complete applications will be evaluated*
